2016 Recap

It is 2017 and it is le temps du renouveau: I have a real website now.
It is also the perfect time to think a little about 2016.

Last year was a complicated year. I was preparing my application to the NYAA, the Mile-End Studio Tour, the move to New York and all the difficulties that it entailed.

September came and went and so did the other three months of my first semester at the Academy. They were a whirlwind.

I would like to thank you all! You have been an enormous help in 2016! You have donated time, money and energy to allow me to live my dream and I am forever thankful!

I have a million resolutions for this year and one of the most important ones is to keep you updated on the fun, the learning and the questions I will be encountering in 2017. Stay tuned and in the meantime here are a few photos from 2016.

Las year I managed to have all the hair colours!

I had a wonderful studio in the Mile-End, with a stunning view!

A bunch of art was started...

...and a bunch of it was finished.

I received the best of news!

With help from many of you, I was able to make it!

With fellow artists we organized the Mile-End Studio Tour (which will have a second edition in 2017!)

Then I packed up and moved.

Once settled in, four months of constant drawing, painting and self portraits.

This is how I spent my year and I am looking forward to next week as the second semester is starting and ça promet!

Thank you all so much for following me in this journey. If you would like to help me out, please feel free to donate on my GoFundMe page or to share it with your friends and family.
